India, Aug. 10 -- Minnesota Primary Election 2026: Minnesota voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for primary contests covering the governor and lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state auditor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House and state legislative seats.

The election is expected to be closely watched, particularly the DFL and Republican governor races, the open U.S. Senate contest and several competitive Minnesota State Senate and State House races. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time.
