India, April 7 -- The Michigan Wolverines wore the crown of college basketball as they beat the UConn Huskies 63-69 in a hard-fought 2026 NCAA National Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday night. The head coach, Dusty May, only in his second year, has taken the top-seeded Wolverines to a program-record 37-3 season and the end of a 37-year wait for a national title.
