India, Sept. 22 -- Kahleah Copper took over the fourth quarter Monday night, willing the Phoenix Mercury to an 87-86 comeback victory over the Dallas Wings at Footprint Center. The All-Star guard poured in 16 of her game-high 31 points in the final frame to snap Dallas' six-game winning streak.

Phoenix avenged Saturday's five-point road loss to Dallas with a gritty closing push in front of their home crowd.

Trailing late in the fourth, the Mercury leaned entirely on Copper's shot creation, and she delivered on consecutive possessions down the stretch.

Copper's Fourth-Quarter Takeover

Dallas carried momentum through the third quarter behind crisp ball movement from rookie star Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale.
