India, Sept. 26 -- Animesh Kujur will be back on the track on Saturday as he competes in the men's 200m semi-final at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The Indian sprinter booked his place in the last four after winning his first-round heat in 21.10 seconds.

Kujur crossed the line first in his heat to secure a semifinal berth and will now face a stronger field as he looks to move into the medal race. The men's 200m semifinal is scheduled to begin at 4:54 PM IST onwards on September 26.
