India, Nov. 6 -- First Lady of the United States Melania Trump has found herself in an unusual diplomatic position in her endeavors to resolve the humanitarian situation created by the Russia-Ukraine war. She will be holding meetings with delegates from Russia and Ukraine in the White House where the talks will mainly revolve around the safety of civilians and providing humanitarian aid.

This follows the temporary ceasefire in the Ukrainian town of Oleshky which has been occupied by the Russians, achieved through the efforts of Melania Trump and Pope Leo XIV. The six-day cease-fire made it possible to provide much-needed humanitarian aid to the citizens and help evacuate some of the affected civilians.
