India, Aug. 18 -- First lady Melania Trump has not made a public appearance in nearly a month, according to an NBC News analysis published on Monday, having last been seen on 19th July at the FIFA World Cup final in East Rutherford, New Jersey, alongside President Donald Trump, their son Barron and the president's four other children.

Since then, she has skipped a string of high-profile occasions that first ladies would traditionally be expected to attend, including the dignified transfer of the remains of four US service members on 22nd July, the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Association dinner, and the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham.
