India, April 25 -- Three people were recently killed, and several others were injured in Manipur's Ukhrul district as ethnic tensions between the Kuki and Naga communities continue to escalate. Manipur has been subject to ethnic tensions for three years now, despite a change in power and peacekeeping efforts. 

Who Were the Three People Killed? 

Out of the three victims from this attack, two victims, 43-year-old Letlal and 19-year-old Paominlun Haolai, were from the Kuki tribe, while the third victim, a 29-year-old man named Horshokmi Jamang, belonged to the Tangkhul Naga community.
