India, Oct. 13 -- Manchester City have reportedly strengthened their legal team by bringing in Mark Howard KC, one of the UK's leading barristers, as the club continues its fight against the Premier League over alleged financial rule violations. According to reports, Howard is advising City as they challenge the verdict concerning 114 breaches of the league's financial regulations between 2009 and 2018.

The legal appointment comes after the club was reportedly found guilty of more than 100 financial breaches in the case last month.
