India, June 3 -- Delhi has been shaken by a severe heatwave situation in the last few months. This raised concerns about public safety and infrastructure risks across the country. In the middle of this weather, a terrible fire tragedy took place in South Delhi. At least 20 people were dead and several others suffered injuries after a massive fire struck a multi-store restaurant at Malviya Nagar on Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out at Lemon Green Restaurant, a multi-storey restaurant at Hauz Rani area of Malviya Nagar. The officials said the blaze ripped through at about 8.50 am, whereas the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call about the incident at about 9.45 am.
