India, May 3 -- The World No. 1 Jannik Sinner dismantled Alexander Zverev at the ATP Madrid Open 2026 final match to win his fifth ATP Masters 1000 title in a row. In a match that lasted just 58 minutes, Sinner proved once again why he is currently the most dominant man in tennis, securing his maiden title in the Spanish capital with a straight-set 6-1, 6-2 victory.
The second-seed German who won the Madrid Open twice before in his career in 2018 and 2021, is yet to win a title in the 2026 season so far. He reached the final here at the Caja Magica for the first time this season. Meanwhile, the Italian sensation extended his winning streak to 23 matches.
