India, Aug. 2 -- The M5 motorway was closed overnight between Junction 23 (Bridgwater North) and Junction 24 (Bridgwater South) to allow National Highways to carry out essential resurfacing work. The planned maintenance has now been completed, and the affected stretch has reopened to traffic. While the overnight diversion routes have been removed, motorists are advised to check the latest traffic conditions before travelling, as minor delays or temporary traffic management may still be present.

The overnight works formed part of National Highways' ongoing maintenance programme aimed at improving road safety and extending the lifespan of the motorway surface.
