India, Oct. 23 -- Omar Sy is back as the charming gentleman thief Assane Diop in Lupin Part 4 and this time, the stakes are higher than ever. The French crime thriller returns to Netflix with eight episodes packed with elaborate heists, clever disguises, dangerous escapes and a mystery that threatens to destroy Assane's reputation. But as the series expands its scale and leans further into action, it also faces a familiar challenge: keeping its storytelling as sharp as its lead character.

While the new season has enough twists to keep viewers invested, some of its bigger ambitions come at the cost of the simplicity that made Lupin such an entertaining watch in the first place.
