India, Sept. 1 -- A fresh change in fuel prices has arrived with the start of September, but it will affect businesses and airlines more directly than ordinary kitchens. Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have increased the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs.9.50 from September 1, 2026, while keeping domestic cooking gas prices unchanged.
At the same time, airlines will face higher fuel costs after Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices rose by Rs.6.28 per litre. The twin increases could put additional pressure on restaurants, hotels, catering businesses and the aviation industry.
