India, Sept. 30 -- LPG Cylinder Booking Rules October 2026: All LPG users in India need to be aware of certain major changes that will occur in the month of October 2026. In particular, there will be changes related to booking refill and subsidy qualification.

One of the main changes is the new Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) policy, which states that any consumer must have his biometric details checked before he can book an LPG refill at the fixed RSP (Retail Selling Price) with the appropriate subsidy from October 1, 2026. There is now a minimum booking period of 25 days for all rural and urban domestic LPG consumers.
