India, Sept. 16 -- Los Angeles witnessed two deadly crashes within a few hours on Tuesday, September 15, when an SUV slammed into a Metro bus in Chatsworth, and a new helicopter later crashed nearby.

The second incident involved NBC Los Angeles' NewsChopper4, which went down around 7 PM near a commercial area on North Mason Avenue, killing three people and sending another person to a hospital. Authorities are still working to determine exactly who was aboard the helicopter and what caused the crash.
