India, July 1 -- Liverpool have confirmed the arrival of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, with the French centre-back set to join the squad ahead of the club's pre-season preparations later this month. The defender has fully recovered from shoulder surgery and is expected to be available from the beginning of training.

The Premier League club finalized a five-year agreement for the France Under-21 international after reaching a deal in January. The transfer is worth an initial £55 million, with performance-related add-ons that could increase the total value by a further £5 million.
