India, Sept. 16 -- Silver Rate Today, 16 September 2026: The price of silver in India continued to hover around the Rs.2.45 lakh/kg level on 16 September 2026, despite continued volatility in global bullion markets influenced by crude oil prices, US Treasury yields, US Dollar and the Federal Reserve interest rate decision.

The price of domestic silver was Rs.244.90/gram, Rs.2,449/10 grams and Rs.2,44,900/kg, which was Rs.0.10/gram lower than the previous quotation and it continues to be highly volatile overall. Silver opened August at Rs.2,35,000/kg and closed the month at Rs.2,55,000/kg, registering an 8.51% rise in one month however, September saw a correction in price, which was Rs.2,44,900/kg on 16 September.
