India, Aug. 13 -- Gold Rate Today (13 August 2026): The prices of gold and silver became volatile on Thursday, August 13, 2026, amid some booking of profits following the gains seen in precious metal prices in the past couple of days. Gold for October delivery on India's domestic futures market fell below the level of Rs.1.54 lakh, while September delivery of silver witnessed a steep fall.

Gold on the MCX lost Rs.1,289 or 0.83% to Rs.1,53,593 per 10 grams and touched an intra-day low of Rs.1,53,535 while MCX Silver settled at Rs.2,35,217 per kg lower by Rs.2,618 or 1.10% and touched Rs.2,35,000.
