Lindsay Clancy Jury Deliberation: Has A Verdict Been Reached In Massachusetts Murder Trial?
India, Aug. 29 -- Jurors in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial ended a second day of deliberations on Friday without reaching a verdict, sending the Massachusetts mother's fate into a third day of scrutiny as the panel weighs whether she can be held criminally responsible for killing her three young children.
Judge William Sullivan dismissed the 12-person jury, made up of nine women and three men, shortly before 4pm on Friday, telling them, "it's been a long day for everybody," before sending them home for the weekend. Jurors are due back at Plymouth Superior Court at 9am on Monday to resume deliberations, having so far spent roughly ten and a half hours weighing the case since closing arguments concluded on Thursday.
