India, Aug. 11 -- LeBron James is preparing to add another chapter to his remarkable NBA career as he heads into his 24th season with the Philadelphia 76ers. After nearly 25 years in the league, the four-time MVP has no shortage of stories from his career, and he appears ready to preserve some of them on screen as he approaches the final stage of his playing days.

James is reportedly taking inspiration from his longtime idol Michael Jordan by backing a documentary focused on the closing years of his NBA journey. Jordan's The Last Dance became a major hit after chronicling the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls and their run to a sixth championship, and James now appears poised to create a similar look at his own final chapters in the league.
