India, Sept. 22 -- Korea Stock Market (KRX) Today (September 22): Seoul's stock market turned sharply higher on Tuesday, September 22, as renewed enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and semiconductor demand pushed investors back into technology shares. The KOSPI opened 2.2% higher at 7,161.61 after Wall Street's Nasdaq reached a record close, while Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix led gains among major Korean chipmakers.

The rally extended beyond the opening surge. The KOSPI later climbed to 7,188.66, up 1.58%, while the KOSDAQ gained 1.09% to 845.38. Stronger global technology stocks, easing oil prices and softer US Treasury yields provided additional support to the Korean market.
