India, June 5 -- The India Meteorological Department, IMD has said that there will be light to moderate rain , plus thunderstorms and lightning in Kolkata over the next seven days. This is because the city is expected to go through a longer stretch of unstable weather conditions, it won't really 'settle' soon. Even though the showers might give a little relief from the summer heat, people will still feel quite uncomfortable due to the high humidity. The latest forecast includes partly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms and occasional showers across the full week for Kolkata.
