India, Aug. 26 -- 'Khalifa,' starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, made a notable step up at the box office on Day 6. 'Khalifa' achieved net earnings of Rs 1.54 crore in India as per Sacnilk, a jump of 58.8 percent on Day 5. The encouraging uptick comes after the action thriller's collections were sluggish in the early week. An increase in weekday ticket sales indicates that the film is getting caught up by the audience. Though 'Khalifa' has still to generate better numbers to see it continue its run successfully at the boxes, the jump on Day 6 gives the filmmakers hope that the film may have a stronger showing in the days to follow.
