However, educational institutions in some flood affected areas have been ordered to remain closed due to waterlogging, coastal conditions and the continued impact of heavy rainfall.

In Alappuzha district, all educational institutions, including professional colleges, anganwadis and tuition centres in Kuttanad taluk, will remain closed today due to the prevailing conditions.
