India, Aug. 20 -- Kenya Samburu Helicopter Crash Latest Update: A safari flight over northern Kenya ended in tragedy on Wednesday, August 19, when a helicopter carrying seven people crashed near Mount Ololokwe in Samburu County. The aircraft went down at about 9:13 a.m. local time, killing everyone on board. Authorities have opened an investigation, but the exact cause of the crash remains unknown.

The crash involved a Eurocopter EC130 B4, registration 5Y-GYM, which was operating a charter flight connected to a luxury safari trip. The aircraft was operated by Lady Lori Kenya Ltd., while the guests were travelling with luxury safari company &Beyond.
