India, Sept. 19 -- Kelsey Mitchell made history on Friday by setting a new WNBA single-season scoring record as the Indiana Fever defeated the Toronto Tempo 103-85. Mitchell finished with 33 points to take her season total to 1,034, moving past the previous record of 1,021 points set by Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson in 2024. Caitlin Clark also delivered a standout performance, contributing 28 points and 14 assists to help Indiana secure the victory.
