India, July 12 -- Heavy to very heavy rainfall triggered a landslide that blocked the Kedarnath Highway at Munkatiya near Sonprayag in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. Vehicular movement on the affected stretch has been suspended, while authorities have deployed JCB machines and other earthmoving equipment to clear the debris and reopen the route.
