India, Oct. 11 -- Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion has been ruled out of Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets after suffering a head injury following a hit from Jets defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported the development during the game, making Concepcion's injury one of the major talking points from the Browns-Jets matchup.

The incident occurred during a physical contest at MetLife Stadium, with Concepcion unable to continue after the hit. The Browns rookie subsequently headed to the locker room, and his afternoon came to an end.
