India, June 30 -- FBI Director Kash Patel has come under scrutiny after publicly revealing details of an alleged plot to attack a UFC event at the White House, with several current and former FBI officials questioning whether he disclosed information from a sealed investigation too early.

Patel announced on social media on June 16 that five suspects had been arrested in connection with an alleged plan to target the UFC event using drones and explosives, praising the FBI, the Department of Justice and other agencies for stopping the plot. However, according to the report, investigators were still pursuing additional suspects at the time, while the case itself remained under seal.
