India, Aug. 29 -- Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for another major project as his much-awaited film Captain India is set to begin production in London soon. Directed by Shimit Amin, the action drama will reportedly go on floors on September 1, with the shoot scheduled to continue until the end of October.

The film is currently slated to hit theatres on August 13, 2027, arriving during the Independence Day weekend. With Captain India, Aaryan will headline a story inspired by a real-life evacuation mission carried out in a war-torn country.

The project is expected to feature an ensemble cast alongside Aaryan and is being mounted on a larger scale, with the story centred on themes of courage, national pride and human resilience.
