India, May 15 -- Modern cinema kind of often shows films that seem really promising on paper, but then when they are actually brought onto the screen, things get a bit shaky. Kartavya X lands right in that same bucket. It manages to blend a mainstream pull with a kind of indie-style realism, and the setup itself grabs your attention almost immediately. Still, even though the film stays watchable, mostly because of its character interactions and those little on-the-ground moments, it never fully delivers the kind of strong, lingering emotional payoff.
