India, Oct. 7 -- Karl Bushby English Channel Swim: British adventurer Karl Bushby has reached British soil after swimming across the English Channel as the latest and unexpected stage of his extraordinary journey around the world. The 57-year-old reached Shakespeare Beach near Dover on October 5, 2026, after swimming from France to England over three days. He spent around 20 hours in the water and covered roughly 21 miles, according to reports.
