India, June 1 -- The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the counselling schedule for the 2026 admission cycle following the declaration of the JEE Advanced 2026 result by IIT Roorkee on June 1. Eligible candidates seeking admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and other Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) can begin the JoSAA registration and choice-filling process from June 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2026 or JEE Advanced 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Meanwhile, registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 has also commenced for candidates seeking admission to B.Arch programmes offered by IITs.
