India, Sept. 15 -- Former CIA Director John Brennan has been subpoenaed to testify next month before a federal grand jury in Fort Pierce, Florida, a courthouse that sits as the sole judicial seat of Judge Aileen Cannon, the Trump-appointed jurist who in 2024 dismissed a Justice Department prosecution accusing Trump of illegally retaining classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Ken Wainstein, an attorney for Brennan, disclosed the subpoena in a court filing, stating that prosecutors presented it to him last Thursday and that Brennan is required to appear on 15 October.
