India, May 12 -- A third minister, Jess Phillips, has quit Keir Starmer's government, adding more pressure on the Prime Minister as he struggles to maintain support within the Labour Party.
Along with Jess Phillips, Alex Davies-Jones and Miatta Fahnbulleh have already announced that they were stepping down from their ministerial roles.
Davies-Jones, who was the victims' minister and MP for Pontypridd, said Starmer should resign after Labour performed very poorly in last week's local elections, including losing control of Wales for the first time in 100 years.
