India, Oct. 29 -- Jennifer Lawrence is returning to Panem, and the reunion has been an emotional experience for the actor. After months of speculation about her involvement in the upcoming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, Lawrence has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in the latest installment of the popular franchise.

The announcement came during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 28. Lawrence also confirmed that Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson will return as Peeta Mellark and an older Haymitch Abernathy, respectively. While the three actors are back in the franchise, their roles in the upcoming film have not been fully revealed.
