India, Sept. 22 -- Jennifer Eckhart, the former Fox News associate producer who allegedly accused ex-anchor Ed Henry of rape and sexual misconduct, has died at 36. Eckhart was found dead inside her Florida home on Saturday morning, September 19, according to an incident report from the Martin County Sheriff's Office obtained by PEOPLE. A spokesperson for the sheriff's office confirmed that her death was ruled a suicide.

Eckhart worked at Fox Business for seven years before leaving the network. She later built a new chapter as a journalist, podcast host and advocate for trauma survivors. Her death comes more than a year after she settled her long-running lawsuit against Henry.
