India, Sept. 21 -- Over the weekend,the violent Typhoon Dujuan made landfall in mainland Japan, bringing stormy conditions. Now, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the country's main weather agency, has warned over 1.6 million residents in six prefectures. The agency also put the national capital Tokyo on high alert.

JMA's Warning for Tokyo

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), has warned of flash floods and landslides in Tokyo due to Typhoon Dujuan. Many are expecting the powerful tropical storm to bring record breaking rainfall in Kanto prefecture (that includes Tokyo) as well as other parts of Eastern Japan.
