India, Oct. 25 -- Superstar Rajinikanth's eagerly awaited action drama, Jailer 2, saw a massive jump in theatrical box-office collections on the second Saturday, which was a testimony to its holding power. The movie bounced back with a huge 66.6% increase in the daily collection on Day 10 after a normal drop on a midweek day and a less enthusiastic collection on Friday of Rs 14.50 crore. The Nelson Dilipkumar directorial earned Rs 24.15 crore in the domestic theatres on a single day. The sharp upward trend was largely due to strong footfalls in the evening and night shows, reinforcing the proven mass appeal of Rajinikanth.
