India, June 1 -- Iranian authorities have issued a forceful denial of circulating reports that Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has submitted his resignation to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. The rebuttal came after widespread speculation, fuelled by Iranian opposition-linked media, claimed that the Iranian President had attempted to step down in protest at the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' (IRGC) unchecked dominance over the country's wartime decision-making.
