India, Aug. 22 -- Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja, has had a positive start in the box office with Rs 14.80 crore grossed in India on Day 1. The movie somehow managed to attract a fair amount of moviegoers on its first day. There seems to have been initial interest among the Telugu-speaking audience. The film had already created a stir before release with Ravi Teja leading the way, which may have helped in its opening in theaters. With the first day's catch, Irumudi is able to start on a good note, but the focus now will be on its performance over the weekend.
