India, May 11 -- US President Donald Trump has called the ceasefire proposal sent by the Iranian authorities via Pakistan mediators "totally unacceptable" as the two adversaries have exchanged terms of the deal to mark an end to the hostilities in the Middle East. Trump has rejected the demands made by him, drawing a hard line over Iran's nuclear programme.
According to the US ambassador to the United Nations, Trump had laid out "a very clear red line" in the latest proposal. Sources say that Iran's counter-proposal has no mention that the country would dismantle its nuclear ambitions.
