India, July 24 -- Iran on Friday called on BRICS member countries to adopt a "clear and decisive" position against aggression and violations of national sovereignty while proposing closer cooperation on disaster risk reduction, resilient infrastructure and crisis management during the BRICS Ministers of Interior Meeting in New Delhi.

Addressing the meeting, Iran's Interior Minister Dr. Eskandar Momeni thanked the Government of India for hosting the meeting and appreciated the efforts of experts from BRICS member countries in preparing the technical documents over the preceding two days.
