India, Aug. 29 -- The next generation of Android flagship phones could be heading toward a major performance jump, and the iQOO 16 may offer one of the earliest clues. An unreleased iQOO handset has appeared on Geekbench with a Qualcomm processor that reportedly reached a peak clock speed of 5.01GHz, putting the upcoming smartphone at the centre of attention ahead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit.

The benchmark listing identifies the test device as Vivo V2606A, a model widely believed to represent the upcoming iQOO 16. It carries 16GB of RAM, runs Android 17 and records 3,434 points in single-core testing and 9,334 points in multi-core testing.
