India, June 2 -- In what might be a game-changer in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) might be looking to remove the highly debated Impact Player rule. Since its inception, the impact player rule has received a fair share of criticism from many cricket fans. Even the players, including the likes of Virat Kohli, have come out in criticism of the rule. Meanwhile, recently, while speaking at an event, Sachin Tendulkar also urged the BCCI to scrap the rule. It seems like the Indian board has heard the God of Cricket, as they are set to discuss the rule with the franchise owners in the days to come.
