India, May 18 -- Delhi Capitals prevailed by five wickets over the Rajasthan Royals on May 17, Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium to ensure themselves an outside chance of qualifying for the IPL 2026 playoffs. In the process, the Royals have slipped one spot in the points table as their playoff chances have significantly derailed. Earlier on Sunday, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru officially qualified for the playoffs by beating the Punjab Kings in Dharmshala. Additionally, they have also retained the top spot.
