India, Sept. 3 -- Apple is preparing to launch its next-generation Pro iPhones, but UK shoppers now face a choice between waiting for the iPhone 18 Pro or taking advantage of discounts on the current iPhone 17 Pro.

Apple has confirmed its next event for September 9, 2026, with the presentation scheduled for 10:30 pm IST. The iPhone 18 Pro is widely expected to feature a faster processor, camera improvements and design changes, although Apple has not yet confirmed those specifications.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro has started appearing at lower prices in the UK. Currys is currently listing the 256GB model at £999, down from £1,099, giving buyers a £100 saving.
