India, Aug. 19 -- If the Insidious franchise has taught audiences anything, it is that going to sleep can be a terrible idea. With Insidious: Out of the Further, the sixth film in the horror series finds a new family at the centre of its supernatural nightmare and gives the franchise a particularly new fear to exploit: the dentist's chair.

Directed and written by Jacob Chase, the film stars Amelia Eve as Gemma, a young mother who lives with her daughter Maya in the house where she grew up. Gemma discovers that she can enter The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the franchise. But her ability comes with a disturbing twist: she can bring entities from The Further back into the real world.
