India, Sept. 4 -- An IndiGo flight operating from Navi Mumbai to Srinagar came into contact with a Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) pole while being parked at Srinagar Airport on Friday morning, September 4, 2026. All passengers and crew members on board were safe, and no injuries were reported. The incident involved IndiGo flight 6E 225, operated by aircraft VT-NOG. According to Srinagar Airport authorities, the aircraft came into contact with the VDGS pole at around 9:02 am while it was being positioned at Bay No. 06 during the parking process.
