Dalal Street kicked off Friday on a strong note, with bulls firmly back in the driver's seat after upbeat global cues lifted investor sentiment. The Nifty 50 reclaimed the 23,400 mark, while the Sensex surged over 900 points in early trade, reflecting broad-based buying across sectors. At the opening bell, the Sensex rose 910.22 points, or 1.23%, to 74,742.77, while the Nifty gained 259.95 points, or 1.12%, to 23,421.55. Market breadth remained firmly positive, with 531 stocks advancing against just 72 declines.
